Regulator and motor Repair

The mechanism that moves the door glass up and down in each door is called a window regulator. There are many reasons why a regulator can break, such as when small plastic pieces break, or the cable guides are frayed or worn out. They can also become damaged when glass gets jammed in the mechanism after a window breakage.

If the window is electric/automatic and makes no sound at all, it’s possible you may need a new window motor, a window switch, or that your vehicle has electrical issues (we do not do any electrical work on vehicles).

If your window suddenly falls into the door, makes crunching noises when attempting to roll up/down, or is sitting crooked in the door frame, call Auto Glass Express to schedule a diagnostic and repair of your window. These repairs are done in-shop only.
